Sorry I got off topic there for a minute... I seriously doubt there will be a second pool or any other amenities added... take a look at Sierra Springs (in front of HEB), they have way more homes in their community but the same size pool. Besides I’d rather see that money be spent on speed bumps for American Lotus. I dread walking along that road with my family…[/quote]

Just do like my husband and yell at every one of them (the speeders)-- gotta love him,but it is kind of useless.

I went to the pool today- it was gross the trash cans were over flowing, there was garbage left every where, and the bathroom was so gross-- my 11 year old BOY wouldn't even use it. But, when I was there, a man came in and was taking pictures of the trash and the bathrooms- so hopefully it will be clean soon.

That sucks... Glad someone was willing to take pictures of it all though. Hopefully Eric Reyes from Spectrum will get off his lazy butt and call the pool maintenance company.

Speaking of Spectrum... does anyone know when was the last time we had a community meeting? I haven't recieved a single thing since Eric took over as the POC for our community!

Welcome to the "hood"~!

Anyone know a techie type with the skill set needed to create a community website? Maybe we can gang up on Spectrum and have them contract it out? Westcreek has a decent website... would like something like that for Amhurst but with a threaded forum page for us residents to post on.

Remember if your pool is not being maintained or if you have any concers call 207-8853 (COSA Metro Health). They inspect /sample/ check Chlorine residuals at all public pools in Bexar County.
