But there is nowhere to have dinner at the Pearl...

Not technically at Pearl, but within a block are Liberty Bar, Josephine Street, Sam's, and Timbo's.

Ah, but there will be! Weissman is putting in two places - Il Sogno, which I assume will be Italian or Continental, and then he is moving Sandbar to the Pearl as well. Plus, as dvlpr says, there are the old stalwarts like Josephine. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Farm to Table open for dinner at least on the weekends. It is crazy busy whenever we go. The Saturday they had the lamb tacos they ran out early.

The week of the river extension opening we ate sandwiches at Farm to Table. Outside they had a big pit going. I saw a stack of buns by the pit and assumed they were selling hamburgers and/or hot dogs. After we finished lunch I walked over to check out the pit and discovered they were selling grilled bacon wrapped Quail for $8. That's what I get for assuming.

Thanks!
On the weekend, street parking in that area is abundant and parking meters are free on Sundays.
