OMG!!! Gwhopper... Thank for the laughs... My eyes watered I was laughing so hard... Especially when you said you ordered what they told you mostly out of fear... I can just see you asking the mumbler to repeat himself 3 times and him getting louder... Flippin' hilarious!!!

I'm not trying to be funny, I can't wait to go back!!! The experience is priceless. And cheap!
Pictures, my friend; we need pictures of the thin steak, lumpy potato and grumpy cook!

Dh and I tried Tiago's at The Rim last night for the first time... It was really good... I had the combo fajitas but preferred the beef over the chicken... Dh's enchiladas were great... Cheese enchiladas with chicken fajitas on top with a cream sauce... Really tasty...

Went to the lighthouse in olmos park for brunch today. The crabcake is excellent, no filler almost. They also have the best cookies in their bakery!

We enjoyed lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse at 1604 & I-10 today. Good stuff but be sure to phone ahead. 40 minute wait to be seated. Yikes! The Wild West Shrimp appetizer was totally awesome!

House of Joy. It tasted about the same as it always does. I don't eat chinese much, not a big fan of the MSG that is used to add "flavor" to the food. But House of Joy is pretty good, so no complaints.

40 minute wait, holy moly. Don't remember the last time I waited for a table! This is the only location in SA right? They were looking for secret shoppers last month. Must be doing alright...I guess.

Went to Broadway 5050 (the original) last night for the first time. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It's a bit of a dive, which was what we liked about it.
