I don't believe there's a salad bar at McCallister's. Jason's has one. You can usually get a free ice cream there too.
Also no Giant Spuds at Jason's, but better soups (my opinion).

I think the spuds at Jason's Deli are quite big, how big of a potato do you want?

I like Jason's better, and Jason's also has pasta. I also like the salad bar, and free ice cream, crackers, muffins etc...

It was a hypothetical question, since you said Jason's doesn't have "gaint spuds."

I went to Pei Wei for lunch today. Not my kind of Asian food, but it was a B-Day luncheon so I decided to go with the flow.
Ordered a Spicy Korean (beef) Signature Dish that almost cost my life.
The hot pepper sauce, garlic, mushroom, onion, carrot… whatever, toasted sesame seeds gravy was not really hot, but so salty I could not swallow it even with help of white steamed rice. Ate less than a half of it and soon after started to feel really bad. Somehow made it back to work but continued to feel dizzy and my blood pressure was sky high. Right now, after a gallon of water, and 5 hours later finally started to feel better.
This was a bad experience and Pei Wei is off my list. Forever!

Love their breakfasts, great omelets and big thick slices of toast as well as the red-skin potatoes.

Bistro in Nordstrom's at La Cantera. Had the roast chicken breast. It was pretty tasty. The pomme frites were good but ordinary in the sense that McD's fries are the equal of the all the pomme frites, I have spent lots of money for in town.

The white chocolate bread pudding was awesome for dessert. Very rich - we shared one and the boss, berate me for having such a lush desert - bad for us.

An amusing moment. A master of the universe, sat down and ordered the chicken sandwich. Dripped attitude and had a hissy fit when the sandwich wasn't hot. It was cold sandwich, Einstein. Haha!

I gave him a bemuse, steely glare.
