I put this in off-topic, cuz I forgot about this thread.

I ate at Patty Lou's today.....it's on 410/Summit Pkwy, wedged in between Heroes and Fantasies and Nine Lives Books....

Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches--club, grilled chicken, and I had an "Uncle Squince" which was roast beef and provolone. It's a cute place and the best part is they serve breakfast all day. (I think they close at 3, though....) Anyway, the food was fresh, tea was good, service was pleasant, and I'll definitely go back and try the pancakes soon.....there is a dare on the menu (they dare you to say someone else's pancakes are better, or something to that effect) which is pretty brave considering Magnolia Pancake Haus exists about 10 miles from there.

They also serve soup.....someone on here was asking about soup. There were 3 choices on the menu board but I can't remember them all--it's been 8 hours or so.

We ate at Logan's off I10. Good steaks and great service. I like it better than Outback. Looking forward to new one opening up at Alamo Ranch.

We ate at The Cove last night - live music, cold beer, and great food - what's not to love? Oh! A super-cute 25 year old server, too...that didn't hurt.

Tiagos by the Palladium. Super inexpensive tex mex - ish food and low priced drinks. Is a sister concept of Sea Island.

Vegetarian and 'health' friendly as long as you know how to order, helpful staff and crappy parking but it was 8 pm on a Saturday.

We did Father's Day brunch yesterday at Taco Haven on S. Presa. Great meal, super cheap and family friendly place. Of course I read about it here!

We ate at Order Up last night. We usually go to Babe's when we need a good burger fix, but we were at Cody library AND had a coupon for Order Up so we tried it. My burger was good, but as always in San Antonio, the fries were too big and squishy. I don't know WHY San Antonio restaurants can't figure out crispy-on-the-outside fries. Restaurants in other cities certainly can do it.

Western Broiler on Frio & Zarzamora. Talk about ollllld schoool but the food is really good and the service is awesome! I had the chicken salad which was very flavorful and delicious and husband had the burger and fries which he says was very good. Its also pretty affordable and they have a lot of lunch and breakfast specials. Oh and we heard so much about how awesome their biscuits are so we took some to go....yeah they are pretty incredible.
