Today for lunch had Furr's on 151, was very impressed with the layout. Good food wish I could have eaten more.

What time were you there and how crowded was it? I've been wanting to go there but it's been ridiculously busy even at 3 in the afternoon. At least it was a couple of weeks ago.

Julian's Pizza off Bitters. Eh...it was ok. Still looking for really good New York style. I miss the Goombas off Brook Hollow.

They have wi-fi too, which you don't find out in small towns a lot. We were there when my daughter was a week away from graduating HS. She got a call that the teacher didn't rec'd a paper needed for graduation. The teacher said she would give her until 3:00 that day!! Luckily Cranky Franks had wi-fi and she was able to email the paper to the teacher.
What are the odds?

Oh yeah, and the food was good too
I don't know what they did, but I recently had Cranky Frank's BBQ in Fredericksburg (I've had it before and it was OK) and was totally blown away by how good it was. This was one of those BBQs that you keep thinking about day after day...and now even a week after I've eaten it...and it was THAT GOOD. I rate it up there with the gold standard found in Llano (Cooper's) and Lockhart (Black's, Kruez, etc). They also give you a LOT of food for about $10. Make sure you ask for the "Marbled" cut of meat, not the "Lean". The fat makes all the difference.

Very nice, will try again soon when I head up that way.

Had Babe's for dinner, their chicken strips look huge. Till you take the breading off, anyways it was good.
