"Linner" at The Egg and I on Sonterra...+10 for service (GREAT waitress, really friendly), 8 for food...had the green chili hash...potatoes seemed like they were the frozen variety.

I ate at Sushi Express at Hardy Oak & Stone Oak Parkway tonight with one of my friends since it's the last time I'll see him in a while. It sounds like a fast-food Japanese place.....but boy, did they pick the wrong name! Very elegant interior & super friendly (and cute waitress who brought out a menu filled with Japanese & Korean dishes. I picked the bulgogi & my friend picked the salmon teriyaki bento box & both were absolutely delicious! I didn't even know the place existed! Now I don't hae to drive down to Ilsong Garden on 410/Blanco to get my bulgogi fix.

Absolutely delicious.

Took a trip to the South Side and went to Laguna Madre for some seafood, it was ok nothing special. But man Bill Miller's charges $1.39 for tea there thought that was a bit too much.

I was in a rush earlier today and needed to have a quick lunch so I found my way to a Golden Chick. I had never tried it but I knew it was fried chicken so I figured it would be like a Church's or Popeyes. Wrong! It was WAY better so I now have another choice when it comes to fast food chicken lol

Palenque Grill on 1604 between Stone Oak and Blanco. Excellent meals were had by all.

El Bucanero (Blanco location). Dinner.

Nothing's changed in terms of quality or quantity from the original on WW White Rd. Always nice to have a full bar at your disposal as well. Large, well-lit dining room that packs em' in deep, but since the service is quick and the design is good, it never feels too loud or frantic. My only issue is that they are now mincing up the shrimp in the ceviche rather than leaving them whole (as they do at their original location). Minor quibble. Great food indeed.

Last night we ate at Marianito's Extreme Texmex grill using a Groupon. It was really good, and really cheap. We had the Jalapeno Poppers as an appetizer, they were awesome.
