Yaghi's NY Pizza - at Babcock and Huebner. Got a pizza to go. Pretty good. It stays in the choices for us.

OMG! What a FIND!!! A little hole in the wall on Evers Rd, called El Cebiche De Waldito. EXCELLENT food, they had a buffett (all you care to enjoy) that included Caribbean, Peruvian and Puerto Rican food. Talk about a FANTASTIC FIND!!!! It is in the little shopping strip with the laundromat in it just off of Evers and 410....think it is called Crestview center. The place is kinda hard to find, but plug the address (5526 Evers Rd) into the navigation system and you will be RICHLY REWARDED. Chef Waldo and his lovely wife Josie offer an unbelievable delight of a meal, not to mention two of the kindest, nicest people you can ever meet! Check out Urban Spoon and Yelp for the reviews....it is AWESOME, Cheap and WONDERFULLY open 7 days a week. They also do catering...and I have already hired them to help with an upcoming party based on the experience today!!!

It's El Ceviche del Waldito or Divine Taste, depending on which sign you look at.

It's really good but he starts pulling portions back if he recognizes you. If you're not too embarrassed to make 4 trips to the buffet you'll be fine. I think some of that stuff is out there a lot longer than it should be....

Actually, I had trouble with ONE trip to the buffet line he put so much food on our plate, everything was fresh and VERY good...and we skipped dinner last night after having lunch at 12:30. My hubby is a BIG eater and HE could only do 2 passes....so to say I am impressed (or shocked!) that you could do 4 rounds would be an understatement!!!!!

What day and time did you go? I had a Living Social coupon and really wanted to try a different cruisine. We stopped by twice, once during the weekend and another time during the weekend and both times were closed. The catering van had a flat so not sure what was going on. I called a couple of different times on the phone and no answer. This was about a few months ago though. I think I'm just totally cursed when it comes to trying new restaurants, it never works out.

We went this past Sunday at noon....had a lovely buffet with more food than you could even imagine...VERY good too! The Chef gave us a tour of the kitchen and sat and talked with us. It is VERY apparent that he cooks for LOVE and desire to make folks happy!!! They are a lovely couple for sure. I hear they are jam packed on the lunch rush during the week because of their proximity to the medical center and their $6.99 buffet including the peach tea (too sweet for my taste, but good).

It IS a true mom and pop type of establishment...I heard the phone ring several times while we were there, but they concentrated on the CLIENTS vs the phone...(what a concept! How many times have you wanted something and waited to PAY while they answered the phone customers questions ahead of yours????), but I hear they do a HUGE business at lunch on M-F because of their buffet. Dinner is Mon-Sat, 5-9pm.

They do not open until noon on the weekends, and if they are doing a catering event, you will see a sign posted they are closed until tomorrow. I would call ahead for weekend stuff.

I ate at the Luby's on 281 North near Bitters Rd. What a mistake that was. I was overcharged for something that I did not order. The manager made it seem like he was doing me a GRAND favor by refunding me difference. Up until then, I haven't eaten at Luby's since 2005. Now I know why, small portions and crappy service.
