Tito'sin Southtown. Had a picadillo crispy taco and charro beans. Was still good but a little off. Maybe the cook had the afternoon off? Love Titos though....food is usually good and they got some nice drank specials.

We tried the food trucks at Madison Square Park on Friday. Half of us had Bite Bistro and the other had Apizza Mia. Bite was amazing. I had Mahi Mahi Tacos, another had the Shrimp Burger and the other had the green chili mac and cheese. The girls who had Apizza Mia split a personal pizza.

Is it common for restaurants to cook then freeze main entrees to be served later? At a local restaurant a friend of mine was served chicken was that was seared on the outside but frozen towards the middle. They'd obviously not taken the fews seconds to check the meat with a thermometer.

Lone Star Steak House - off 35 in the south of town. Pretty good for the price. Good service.

I heard the same re: the bahn mi from a trusted coworker. I look forward to trying them.

Urban Taco- $10 for 3 street tacos and 2 microscopic sides. A little salty and pricey for what it was, but overall an enjoyable experience. I would eat there again.
