Nope, I did not see it either. It was an OK burger, but definitely nothing to say WOW! about and definitely not worth the drive and wait.

The Gristmill River Restaurant in Gruene.

Awesome atmosphere and great comfort food IMO!

We didn't wait at all - the joint was jumpin', but we apparently had the food gods riding shotgun because we walked right up and even found a clean table immediately.

Their burgers aren't fabulous but they're good. Their fries are pretty damned good, but this town is not a good french fry town.

And the drive for us is all of 10 minutes, so hey.

My son feasted on the cinnamon roll. Made for great pictures anyway. We of course went right when they went to clean the fryers and had to wait about an hour to order but so worth the wait!

We went last Saturday night around 7:30 and were definately still there at that time. That cinammon roll is yummy!!

Speaking of burgers, we recently went to Babes Old Fashioned Food off Hwy 16. Loved it! Very good burgers and fries.
