Mark's Outing FKA Fatty's 1624 E Commerce

Had the 1/2 lb bacon cheese burger and split a large order of fries and rings with my lunch partner.

The burger was flavorful, juicy and cooked medium to medium well (just the way I like it)
the bun was home made and slightly toasted.

Beer basted rings and crinkle cut fries are some of the best around.

Two happy campers! Need to come here more often.

So many great places in town where you grab a fantastic tex-mex breakfast with a beer/margarita for a fraction of the price of TNT.
Thanks for the review, stopped by Sobro a few doors down for lunch and it was good, the pizza and the calzones were very tasty. T&T needs to watch what happened to Z Tejas and how they didn't fare well here.

Lien Hung on Remount. I enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, especially pho. But I think this is the best spot in San Antonio for authentic Vietnamese fare. Don't let the run-down surrounding area startle you, this is the real deal.

Tiger Pop on Loop 1604. I googled Korean restaurants and went to that one.

Has anyone here been to Korean restaurants in San Antonio?

"Tiger Pop" isn't really a Korean restaurant, it's just some Asian fast-food place.

If you want a real Korean dining experience, check out "Ilsong Garden" at Blanco/410, southwest corner. The difference in bulgogi flavors between Ilsong Garden and Tiger Pop are definitely noticeable. Delicious! :-)

This just popped up on my Facebook wall: A Guide To Banchan, Those Delicious Side Dishes Served At Korean Restaurants

Quite timely, considering the nature of my last post here. Another difference between the 2 restaurants: Tiger Pop won't have ban chan.

Default Pollo Tropical - Very Good, Caribbean Style

Hey just got on here and looking around. This is my first forum post.

This restaurant is located at 281 & Bitters. They are supposed to be under the Taco Cabana group. Competes somewhat with El Pollo Loco but has a wider range of choices. Had their citrus based seasoned grilled chicken(skin on) and roast pork. Desserts were pleasantly mildly sweet guava bar and fried plaintain/banana. Definitely NOT for someone expecting the usual high fructose sugar hit covered in chocolate.

La Fonda Alamo Heights--- Since it relocated to Crown Hill, I have been there several times for lunch , first time for dinner before an AH football game. Same excitement, same food as always.....not the best TexMex , but the same acquired taste that several generations have grown to expect. I watched another generation in attendance last night. I look for others to follow.

Cibolo Moon

An exceptional experience from start to finish.

Recommendation: Burnt Brisket ends or Green Chilli Queso
