Where is Culver's? On de Zavala west of I-10? ??? Is it close to Buffalo Wild Wings there?

The Cove for dinner with some friends yesterday. I had the Yard Bird with a gluten free bun and seasoned green beans. All was fabulous as always (pricey at about $16 all together, but you get what you pay for).

Kosta's Greek restaurant on the Northeast side. Loved it! Best gyros.

Try a Culver's less than 5 bucks burger lunch compared to the McDs. The latter doesn't even taste like meat.

I love Culver's cheddar burger. Yum! I wish there was one here on the NE side!

They are good! Nothing fancy as far as decor goes, but very good and reasonably priced. I just wish they had tyropita!

My last three visits to Pappa Nachos, my favorite nearby place have not been good. The salsa tastes like soap or something.
Waiter says, yes they have had complaints but did not change anything.
It's been a month and I need to try again. Maybe me its just me.

Went for the 3rd time in 4 months today for lunch.
Place was empty, looks like many have had the same experience as we did.

Whiskey Cake

The ambience is a big noisy bar. So not a place for an old unhip Grandma. A with it one would think it is ok.
Staff is quite friendly and gives you a pep talk about the food and philosophy and it's ok, not obnoxious.
The menu is small but interesting. I had the lamb stack which was quiet tasty and a juice drink called Jessica Wabbit - that was pretty good but get a glass of water as it wasn't that big.

Since this was exploratory I went for dessert - a berry special with lavender ice cream and that was qood also.

Place isn't cheap but I enjoyed it. Not for a casual lunch in my price league but if we were shopping and having fun, I'd go there.
