Excellent! Delicious! Will visit again the next time they are part of Culinaria, hopefully in the fall.

Gogi St. love their kimchi fries, their wings and their bowls.

My party of 3 ladies got there at 5:00pm when they opened, so it was not crowded at all. We had reservations due to the concert and the restaurant being so close to the Tobin. We were all dressed up for our "night on the town". I don't know if there is a dress code or not. I did not observe other diners coming or going as the ambience is pretty dark, but nice.

I did find out this restaurant is not related to the Brazilian Steakhouse in Stone Oak, which I have never been to. I hope to go to one or the other come the next Culinaria event.

Enjoy your dinner and night out.

Texas de Brazil is a chain. It's good, not saying that to be negative but Chama Gaucho ( I think that's the one you're referring to in Stone Oak) is an independent I think.

I can't remember if it's Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao that has the lobster bisque but it's absolutely delicious and worth the trip.

I think there's another Brazilian steakhouse in 1604 either in or near Stone Oak but I haven't tried it.

Chama is on a whole other level for San Antonio: Hands down, better service, meat and a much bigger dining room. Added, their feijoada is the most authentic tasting.

The owner Juoun has opened up several more in other states, as well as steakhouse concepts in Chicago. He's a good fella.

Texas de Brazil vs Fogo, however...

Brazil on Houston, all the way. Larger salad bar. Larger dining space. Better service.

Also, they have better occasional coupons if you sign up through their website.

Chama is my favorite in town. I have been to Brazil several times and I wish the Brazillian Steakhouses in the states could pull off the grilled mozzarella that they do in Brazil.

I am on a quest to find the most expensive cup of coffee in a restaurant. Mimi's leads the way with $3.29. Can you beat that?

Any Starbucks location serving the Clover-machine coffee is more pricey than that.

About $3.50/cup.
