www.waterboyrestaurant.com,www.elladiningroomandbar.com (small plates and pricey)casual open kitchen w/ pizzas www.tulibistro.com

Jamie's Bar & Grill, if you can find it, is casual and old school w/ home cooked food. Might be good for scotch & casual to boot.

It certainly does! I should go drink it! LOL!!! I took a similar pic of mine, but the one 2DMaxx took is better. That is seriously some of the most delicious beer I've EVER had! Can't stop thinking about it. yummmmmmmmm......

So, we went to the Yard House on Thursday night. I had the Crab Crusted Swordfish and otherhalf had the Fish & Chips. Both were very good and I would order them again. They do have an extensive menu, tho, so there's lots of things to choose from. Their Happy Hour and Reverse Happy Hour seem to have good (tho def NOT "cheap") offerings. It'll probably become a hangout for older college students and "young professionals". Maybe it'll take some of the Happy Hour & Reverse Happy Hour away from Kona. <shrugs> Also, although they have 130 beers on tap, Freetail is absolutely still my fave for beer.

Wow jules07 we seem to have the same tastes.. I was very impressed with the Yard House...

NY Steak Sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
I found the Green Flash West Coast IPA on draft that I always hear about and we also enjoyed the current '6 pack'.

We went to Logan's for dinner tonight - my husband was seriously dying for their rolls. I had the three tiny burgers and fries, along with an icy cold Bud Light. My husband had some sort of slab of cow meat and a baked potato, along with his own icy cold Bud Light.

The food (including those rolls) was REALLY good, but what impressed me most was the service. This was seriously the best service we'd had in a restaurant in like...ever. And of course I've forgotten the waiter's name, but he was fan-damned-tastic - attentive without hovering, which is just as it should be. He also gave us a coupon so my burger and fries were free, which was super nice of him.

I was really impressed, to be honest. You guys know how I feel about chains.
