We had brunch at Jim's on Sunday. My omelette was good...think it was Spanish omelette. The biscuits didn't taste homemade, however. Service was good

This is not meant to be mean-spirited in the least, but this post made me laugh this morning.

'Brunch' at Jims. The first giggle.

Homemade biscuits? You're still at Jims. Second giggle.

The 'good service' part made me smile: Which location were you at?

The one on Perrin Beitel tops them all.
The other day I ordered a hot tea. The hot water came in a little metal container, and so was milk. The containers were covered with weeks ( if not months) old fat mixed with dust. When I asked to bring me my water in a clean container, the waiter looked at me with "that" look and said: they are clean... is anything swimming in your water, Mme?

Oh DANG!!! Please say it isn't so!

My experience at Perrin Beitel was the first AND LAST time I'll set foot in there. The other Jims have been great.
