I've lost the opportunity to have many awesome jobs just because I thought having a "BA" made me qualified.
You do realize that Williams got his BA from UT-Austin?

I honestly could care less where someone got their degree, as long as they do their job. The thing that bothered me was the Berlanga's whole thing was that "I'm a CPA, I can do it better than him." But, obviously, it doesn't matter now, does it? Williams won.

I was comparing Berlanga saying that he was able to balance a budget just because he's a CPA to me thinking that I can do a job just because I have a BA. Experience means more to me then your degree.

He won 2-1, it wasn't even close. The other two districts had upsets. Ivy Taylor beat the primary winner in District 2 and in District 5, the incumbent, Galvan was beaten by the challenger, Medina. These low turnout runoff elections sometimes produce surprising results.
