Let's go to the point...
Do you think that the owner of the Dallas Cowboys would allow an NFL team in San Antonio to take away his fans plus South Texas and Austin?

Well, the owner of the Baltimore Orioles (Peter Angelos) "allowed" the Washington Nationals to move in just 40 miles away (in 2005)....Jerry Jones would wield his influence, but ultimately it's not his decision to make.

Of course they'll have a "hissy" but, if the NFL determines that a team will go to SA...that's where it goes. It's not Dallas' nor Houston's decision.

Actually, in terms of relocation, it's not the NFL that determines if it can happen or not, it's a panel made up of owners who vote and decide if a relocation can be approved.

I agree. It's not Jerry Jones or Bob McNair that will decide if San Antonio gets a team down the road. It will be the league. And right now with Tagliabue gone and Goodell running the show our chances are better than ever before.

That is true. There needs to be 75% owner approval (this is the way it's been in the past) for it to happen. If they get the required 75%, and the NFL agrees, then Jerry Jones can throw all the "hissy" that he wants.
Jerry Jones would have to gather up 8 other owners to block an SA move.

Don't think he won't. He's already stolen the Final Four from us. He bilks this town for all it's worth. BTW, Bob McNair wouldn't stop a team from coming to SA, he's doing fine with SE Texas. Until the Texans make a deep playoff run, I don't see a lot of fan penetration outside of that area. Everybody loves a winner.

Remains to be seen. Neither you nor I know the answer. I could care less, as I'm a Giants fan anyway and always will be.

As a born and raised San Antonian, and also a "true blue" Cowboys fan, I can assure you that the DC faithful fan base that resides in and around the S.A. area would not just "jump ship" to a NFL team in S.A. Although just the allure of being able to see a live NFL game 8 or so times a year would be a nice draw in itself.
That being said, can you imagine the draw when the Cowboys came to play whatever team was put here? I can picture silver and blue packing the dome, with a spattering of whatever the "home team" colors were, throughout the stands.
Ol' JJ shouldn't be worried about a team in S.A. taking from his beloved Cowboys' followers. There are too many in the area who were raised on DC football, and some things you just can't change.
Don't believe me? Ask the Oilers, Gunslingers, and any of the other football teams who have tried to break down the DC fan base in this area. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!
