I'm just glad UTSA finally got a football team. A tenant for the Alamodome!

It'd probably cost $100 million to upgrade the Alamodome to NFL standards or $400 million to build a new NFL-ready stadium. I believe San Antonio has better ways to spend that money.

If it's privately built there's no problem. I believe the Chargers are looking to build their stadium with private funds.

San Antonio does need and NFL team!!! Enough said.
I am NOT a Cowboy's Fan, and I DON'T want to drive to Houston to see an NFL game. MLS would be nice too, or at least Women's Soccer, but SOMETHING please. Please...The 8th largest city in the U.S. Deserves another pro team.
It's sad, how the SPURS got into the NBA, otherwise, San Antonio would never had a professional sport franchise.

San Antonio has 4 pro teams. By 2011, it will have 4 college football teams. How many teams is enough?

I wish..
it would be a huge boost to the economy, it would be great for San Antonio and Austin to have split rights to this team, located on the I-35 Corridor! Or just reboot the Alamodome....."San Antonio River" anyone?

Headline:SPURS WANT CITY TO GIVE THEM 50M FOR NEW HOCKEY PRACTICE FACILITY. I for one, could do without more of this stuff. My taxes are high enough already. If anybody thinks they can make money on an NFL team in SA without me helping to pay for it they would have already been standing in line to do it. I don't see any line forming so it must not be financially feasible.
