I agree....and I'm so sorry that 2 innocent people got shot by that idiot, but I'm also very thankful he didn't hurt that boy. I hope that mother of his knows just how lucky they are. What a scum ass.

She better not be hiding him.

If they know who the shooter is, why don't they have him? What is wrong with these divorced mothers who hook up with trash and then let them take care of their kids. No wonder the father was upset about this creep picking up his son. I would have been too. Lock the mom up with him....when they find both of them! I hope CPS awards full custody to the dad.

And isn't this the Chachos with the mega play space? That will be a night those little kids don't forget soon.

I just read Sapphires link where it said a man and his son were eating there when the boyfriend of the mother came to pick up the son. That's where the argument started. I'm sure the father wasn't going to allow his son to leave with that creep....who then pulled a gun and shot up the place.

My other comments were about similar stories in the past news about divorced parents and problems with new SO's taking care of their kids.

Yes that is the one with a huge playspace. I hope the boy was playing and didn't see anything firsthand.

Wow! 100 police calls so far this year. At a restuarant on Perrin Beitel and 410 no less. I was just in this area last Friday night and stopped and ate at the Jim's up the street around 10 pm. If I had known that the NE side had gotten this bad I would have grabbed something to eat closer to home.
