News story from KSAT 12.

http://www.ksat.com/video/11639981/index.html?taf=ant (broken link)

Schertz will be the second city in the San Antonio area to install the red light cameras.

Schertz is quite explosive in growth, growing from 26,463 in 2005 to 34,000 in 2006.

Schertz has nearly doubled its 2000 population of 18,000 in just six short years..

I think that's a great idea because I see a lot of people run red lights. It's not just one car either. If one vehicle runs a red then a couple more will follow.

Not a bad idea. I actually drove through Balcones Heights a week ago and saw someone run the red light. I guess they weren't aware of the cameras.

Schertz police are everywhere. I don't think the cameras have anything on them.
