I have not been able to receive WOAI-DT since the digital switch. Like many, I have been receiving WOAI-DT digitally for quite some time. Each time there was a test during the nightly news, I had no difficulty receiving the digital-only signal. I continue to receive other stations without difficulty.

Anyone else having trouble? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

Did you rescan? WOAI switched channels from UHF 58 to 48 at the transition. KSAT's digital is on 12 now, instead of UHF.

Yes, I've rescanned many times. Hasn't seemed to help yet. Thank you for the info, however.

Some posters over at the AVS forum, where DTV is the primary topic, suspect that WOAI is operating on reduced power. No one from there has confirmed that and there doesn't seem to be any indication of that on their web site.

I have been able to get WOAI-DT working by manually adding the channel and frequency, but try as I might I cannot get KSAT-DT working as channel 12.1, frequency 12. The signal shows full strength for me, but there seems to be no broadcast on it (?)

If you could give me a link to the AVS forum post, I would appreciate it.

Thanks again,

Mark

San Antonio, TX - HDTV - Page 130 - AVS Forum

I'm receiving KSAT and WOAI just fine with rabbit ears. I was hoping that I might also start receiving KLRN after the transition, since their DTV transmitter was operating on reduced power before. Alas, I still don't receive KLRN with the rabbit ears.
