If they haven't been to Sea World before, I would recommend that - the shows are entertaining, there are a few rides, the waterpark is fun for all, and meals / souveneirs are much more affordable there. I like all three parks, but with the younger kids schlitterbahn is too stressful for me, and while there are plenty of rides and activities for younger kids at Six Flags now, you'll pretty much have to split up for the older and younger kids to have fun there.

I third Sea World, especially with the younger kids.

Although, I'm sure the older ones would like Schlitterbaun much more.

i haven't been to sea world in years, but when i used to go with my friends with kids i know their younger children found the shows boring...but that would depend on the individual children...

personally, i would pick six flags because they have the new Wiggles World and the younger kids would really love it...they have rides for them and a pirate ship in the middle that is a mini water park...not an actual pool, but shooting water and water coming up and out of the floor...it's a great alternative to the actual water park at Fiesta Texas...where the kids can get wet and still have fun ... my 3yr old son and even my 7yr old daughter simply LOVE this area of the park...

there are also other little kid rides scattered throughout the park that are still near the big kid rides, so 1 adult could take the little ones to their rides while the older kids enjoy theirs...

while we don't eat there, due to food prices, we are still able to have a ton of fun with kids who are 3, 7 and 13...

good luck and have fun!!!

The only reason I would choose Sea World over SF or Schlitterbahn is because in my opinion it is more family friendly out of the three and I think the merchandise and food is more affordable.

I vote for Schlitterbahn. The reason is that this time of year Seaworld can be terribly hot and uncomfortable! We went on a day that it was 100 degrees and we finally just left. The lines were long and it was very crowded. No one seemed to be having a good time. Just my opinion. I love Seaworld when it's a little cooler...and worth the money!

I would vote for Schliterbahn if your comfortable letting the older ones go off by them selfs for awhile. I have only been once but there was a ton of stuff to do for all ages.

Sea World for sure. We bought season passes this year. I have a four year old and she loves the shows - as do her parents!
