Default Downtown speed trap

I just learned that a friend of mine got caught in a speed trap this morning. She was exiting IH-35 to go north on San Pedro. Said there were a lot of cars being pulled over for exiting the freeway at faster than the posted speed of 35 mph. She said if she had slowed down to 35 upon exiting the freeway, multiple cars behind her would have plowed into her. Anyone else get caught in this one?

Guess we all need to start minding our speed coming off the expressways.....

or look at the calendar. Speed enforcement is pretty much 100% revenue generation here. They could care less about public safety.

Are you suggesting monthly quotas? Bite your tongue!

Every once in awhile they'll enforce exit speeds off freeways. These signs are yellow and indicates the speed at which the exit ramp from a freeway or
expressway may be traveled safely (Source: Texas Drivers Handbook). So technically, you're not breaking a regulation (white and black speed limit signs); however, they can get you for not driving safely for the exit conditions (yellow warning signs). Has anyone been issued a speeding ticket in this manner for exceeding a warning sign speed?

Hmm, looks at the calander... they must be missing their budget by a few dollars... I am sure.. a few people got mugged while they were setting up that speed trap and couldnt get assistance because they were too busy down there..
