...at Nacogdoches through Sunday. I was driving eastbound and it was backed up all the way to 35....access road included!

I think the best alternate to take would be eisenhauer rd to Austin highway

I don't know where my company gets this from,
but every Friday we get an email with a list of road closures for the weekend

I'm guessing there's somewhere on the www.txdot.gov webpage to check road closures.

IH 410 WB Closed at Nacogdoches this Weekend


WEATHER PERMITTING, the following construction closures have been scheduled.

Friday – Sunday, June 26 – 28
IH 410 Westbound Mainlanes at Nacogdoches (FULL CLOSURE)
Crews will close the left two lanes of westbound IH 410 at Nacogdoches from 8 p.m. until finished for bridge demolition. The entrance ramp past Harry Wuzbach will be closed. DETOUR: All traffic must exit at Nacogdoches and re-enter past Broadway.

IH 410/Nacogdoches Intersection (FULL CLOSURE)
Crews will close both sides of the IH 410/Nacogdoches intersection from 8 p.m. until finished for bridge demolition. DETOUR: Northbound traffic will go to Harry Wurzbach and take the turnaround; southbound traffic will go to Broadway and take the turnaround.

Friday – Monday, June 26 – 29
IH 410 Eastbound Frontage Road/Nacogdoches
Crews will close the left lane of the eastbound frontage road from 1500 ft west of Nacogdoches to 500 ft east of the Nacogdoches intersection from 8 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for bridge demolition.

Monday – Tuesday, June 29 – 30
IH 410/Nacogdoches Intersection (FULL CLOSURE)
Crews will close both sides of the IH 410/Nacogdoches intersection from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for bridge demolition. DETOUR: Northbound traffic will go to Harry Wurzbach and take the turnaround; southbound traffic will go to Broadway and take the turnaround.

Harry Wurzbach at IH 410
Crews will close alternating lanes of northbound Harry Wurzbach at IH 410 from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. DETOUR: Traffic will need to go to Starcrest and take turnaround.

IH 410 Eastbound Frontage Road at Harry Wurzbach
Crews will close alternating eastbound frontage road lane of IH 410 at Harry Wurzbach from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for signal work.

Monday – Friday, June 29 – July 3
