It occurred to me that this alone may not be a really good barometer of any given posters reputation. Someone who has a great many total posts will likely have a pretty high reputation count. Also anyone who has just become a member will receive an automatic 10 rep points on their first post. I think a better indicator would be a ratio of the number of post per rep. A lower number of course would be indicative of a higher reputation. I would deduct the 10 automatic reps. The equation would look like this. (Excuse my sphering, I'm no mathematician) Anyway. # of posts / (reps-10) = rep ratio. Mine, at this time, would look like this. 863 / (340-10) = 2.61. Or, on average, it took me 2.6 posts for every rep that I recieved. Try it! It's Fun! What's your Rep Ratio?

Everybody have a safe and Happy 4th of July!

Or you could switch the numerator and denominator and get a fraction that could be used like baseball batting averages (i.e. higher is better). So you would have (reps-10) / posts = 330/863= 0.382 average.
