You get an essence of coconut when you fry eggs in them, but it is not unpleasant. It's like any oil (I'm thinking olive or sesame) that has a particular aroma.

Just came back from Wally World and they had extra-virgin coconut oil (12 oz bottle) in the vitamin section for $9.96....

I've seen it at my HEB with the regular Oils on the top shelf - this is the HEB on Walzem & Montgomery so I'm sure if they have it most HEB's will since it's a smaller store

Just my 2 cents, I use a Presto microwave air popper (love it!) and use my virgin olive oil and popcorn salt (finer than normal salt). It is scrumdiddlyumpcious! Also, olive oil is very healthy too. Enjoy!

you can also just grab a couple of coco nuts and squeeze them real hard, over a funnel, over a jar, and make your own. ........... ........

High temperature tolerance, thus low smoking... and GREAT tasting popcorn! It is what the Theaters use by and large.

I would try Sun Harvest, oriental markets and AliBaba store. Google it and call the stores. Good luck!
