La Italiana...

I an a resident of Stone Oak and was wondering if you have a timetable as to when you may open? Are you still just planning or do you have a location ready to go? Very interested!

This is still a work in progress....no plan yet and when it will open or where. We're hoping within the next year, but there is still a lot to work out. I'm so happy to hear there is an interest. Not sure why there is such a bias for the SO area, but it's home and there is a lot of interest. Traffic isnt as bad...I moved to South Florida when we moved from Italy so I know what real traffic looks like. We may start out a few things through the internet and move on from there before opening a store. More Italian desserts that i make and can put together for special events. Again, still a work in progress.

Cool I'm all for it

I would love a place to get the ingredients I need.

I cook traditional italian dishes. However, I agree with the location. Stone oak is just too far for me to go. I usually have shipped to me from Chicago. I'd rather wait for the mail than go to Stone Oak.

Yep! I would be interested as well, but Stone Oak is not the greatest location.

I think that is a great business location. Stone Oak should have the critical mass of Northeastern transplants and curious upper-middle class housewives needed to support a true Italian market. While I DO NOT live in Stone Oak, I would imagine you could sell a bit more Pane Pugliese and Canolli to repeat customers in Stone Oak than a more "central" location that begins to encroach on the Chicken-Fried-Steak/Puffy-Taco belt of San Antonio cuisine.

If people want it bad enough, they will drive. Count me in.

Right...because suburbanites are renowned for their adventurous palates...
