not sure about the liability, but what about a place for kids or big kids to ride moto-cross style bikes and bmx and stuff? Was something that kept us from getting kiddo a motobike because of not having land for him to ride on.

A "text and drive" derby. Let the idiots who think they can text and drive at the same time prove it to the world. If they can get out of there without a scratch on their cars, they get a ribbon and 20 lashes. And a nice little certificate for their cubicle.

Bitter much, you ask?

hmmm I guess that the company that was working on it decided to bail on it? I was taking loads of gravel down there for a few weeks.

The track and property is listed with a real-estate company for sale but we're looking for doing something with it before it sells - which in today's economy might be a while.

We're not looking on doing anything big or expensive - just a little something to do with it before it sells.
So you own it now?

hey svg210, you might be confused with another track with similar name. no gravel at this track. the lease holder bailed in 2007 supposedly because the city making things difficult.

nix54, no we aren't renting now. we own the race track and surrounding 280 acres (more or less). selling price needs to be discussed with listing agent. for sale sign on property. The race track is intact with bleachers (in good shape), bathrooms (need repairs), general buildings associated with race track (concession area, box office, etc -- need repair).

thanks, 5RP
