Default Best Chinese food in the city?

Which is where exactly?? Because my mom is getting ready to leave the city soon because we might be moving but I don't want to leave without having tried some "good" Chinese food! Which is a kinda ridiculous statement because I am in Texas. I've had really good chinese in New York and New Jersey and Florida so you know what I mean?? I've been here for about 3 years and have YET to try some really good ones except for the ones at the malls. If you any you can suggest, please suggest them.

I lived in China for a number of years, if I want real Chinese food I go to Houston. San Antonio's been a disappointment in this respect.

LOL! If the only SA Chinese you have got to try is at a mall, you can only do better anywhere!

I haven't been to many Asian restaurants outside of Texas, but perhaps if you list some dishes you are seeking, I'm sure there are many that could tell you great places to go.

I usually eat more Vietnamese and Korean than Chinese, some favs are KIKU GARDEN, TONG THAIS and on a good day, KIM TRAN. FORMOSA GARDEN is great for Chinese fusion.

No!! I've tried ALOT of chinese restaurants since I been here but I can't find a really good one except for the ones at the mall. The only good one I can report is that one Chinese buffet that's next to that Laser Tag place. But even that feels too manufactered. I'm all for vietnamese food though!! If you can suggest some vietnamese food places here too i'll totally appreciate but I've always wanted to try it!

TONG THAI and KIM TRAN have some Vietnamese, but my friend's fav is VIETNAM on Broadway, what I've had there is good. KIKU GARDEN used to have a lot of Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese dishes, but now it's mostly Korean

I dont know, I've always liked Gins off of Evers. They've been there for a while.

As for Sushi, everyone needs to go try Nyo-Shii. : 0 Very good, its in the Medical Center.
