The best Tamale I ever had was at Canyon Cafe, it was white chocoloate wrapped in a corn husk and given to us after dinner.

New Orleans Tamales? How funny! My Aunt makes the best Tamales, a native San Antonian. They can't get any better than hers. I have been to lil Nawlins several times, and Tamales were furthest from my mind, just as that gross gumbo crap. I don't care for seafood much.

Gumbo doesn't always have seafood in it. Have you tried chicken + sausage gumbo? Mmmmmm.

Sweet, I don't disagree with you on most thing but the Tamales in New Orleans will make you wanna slap yo momma. They are that good. I talk to the locals and they have been making tamales in LA. for over 100 years and they even have the Tamale festival in Zwolle.

I would take a bowl of gumbo over menudo anyday

I wish someone would open a Louisiana Tamales restaurant here. It is a shame the populace can taste what excellent tamales taste like
