Default Vista Ridge apts or Boerne apts (Stone Creek Village) - where to live?

I need a little help. I want to move to SA and live near La Cantera area or even more North up in Boerne. I'm into road bicycling and I've found a couple places that would allow me to hit some great roads just out the door. I'm looking a Vista Ridge apartments off Camp Bullis and looking in Boerne, particularly Stone Creek village apartments. Anybody know anything or live in these apts? I'm 40, single guy, and would like a nice place, not loud, and within 15 minutes of La Cantera, Lifetime Fitness, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I used to live in Vista Ridge apartments when they first opened and they were call Verde Ridge. It was a great apartment!! I still live in the area and there are always tons of cyclist around here. They all seem to meet at the Starbucks on Borene Stage. New apartments that just opened at The Rim called the Haven. Theres also The estates at La Cantera back on Babcock & Camp Bullis. They are new as well, but you could bike right out of your front door

I live at Stone Creek Village and have for the last 10 months or so. Ed, the property manager, really takes a genuine interest in taking care of his residents. He makes sure that SCV has great residents so everyone is happy. SCV is a straight shot down IH-10 to The Rim and La Cantera, about 15-20 minutes drive, but it's still in a quiet area. Our unit is over 1200 sf. We would definitely not be able to rent a similar size place in San Antonio for what we're paying here. We wouldn't want to rent anywhere else!
