Debris along Loop 410 NE and NW between Blanco and Nacogdoches
Has anyone noticed that on loop 410 between Blanco and Nacogdoches is very dirty? Tires, Clothes, Sand, and just trash litter the side of the highways. These are brand new highways, the city should do a better job of keeping them clean. I also found graffiti under one of the bridges..cant rembmer if it was Jones Maltsberger or McCullough.

You can call 311 and report those things. Maybe no one else has bothered to report them?

Sounds to me like the city could create jobs cleaning 410

Actually, I'm almost certain that TXDOT is the agency responsible for things like road maintenance, signage, litter pickup, grafitti removal, mowing, etc. along interstate highways in Texas, even if they are inside city limits. You could still call 311, and they could probably refer you to the appropriate number to call at TXDOT.

This is correct about the 410 being TXDOT's responsibility, but the City will take care of the grafitti.

Criminals already cost the taxpayer money. TXDot put our tax dollars to work by sending non-violent criminals to work (especially graff perps) cleaning up trash and graffiti. It's not a new concept, but not used nearly enough. They need to do it during peak temps and during rush hour so everyone can see them!
