I would definitely report it to the police, and would sue if possibly.
Leave revenge ideas alone. Karma usually takes care of scumbags in due time.

e-mail all three stations (KSAT, KENS, and WOAI) and chances are one will take up your cause. I did that when SAWS tried to screw me over on their mistake and one of the KSAT investigative reporters helped me. I'm not sure if KABB also has one.

I don't know about being sued, but it is against the terms of agreement and therefore it is highly recommended that you do not...
