You're probably right, SsnTktHldr. That's probably what I would use because they are nice chunks of meat and when you slow cook it the pork just falls apart. I suggested Bolner's because of their spices. Their meat is a little high, but the quality is also very high.....although I don't even remember seeing pork there. Their steaks are amazing.

Its a great meat market, havent been there in a while.
Penshorns burned down last year. Hopefully they rebuilt or moved but I'm unsure.

Funny you mention this. I have a boston butt in my freezer (left over from making deer sausage). I was going to cook it this weekend and I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I know I am going to put it in the oven for a long while (I hate to do that in this heat ) but I am not sure what kind of seasonings.

Any ideas for spices?

I just did a pork roast in the oven with this delicious stuff I found at Super Target...it's in the spices aisle. It's a short, squat plastic bottle. It's made with herbs and spices and panko crumbs, so it makes a nice crust on the meat....it was very tasty. I'm not at home or I'd get you the brand, etc. but it's near the Stubb's rub at the Culebra/1604 ST.
