I'd like to know what you consider to be the best tasting iced tea around here. I'm getting tired of Lipton, Tetley, etc at home and would like to try some new, perhaps restaurant brands. I have had Cain's products in the past and liked them very much. I believe they used to supply Mama's. What do ya'll think?

People seem to rave about the tea at Bill Miller's. Maybe that's because they're one of the few places that sells it in quantities larger than a cup?

Bill Millers all the way.

Though actually our McDonald's {Walzem} has good sweet tea too - it's just a bit higher in caffeine than bill millers

It occurred to me after my first post in the thread that The Earl of Sandwich restaurants have two different varieties of unsweet tea at their drink fountains. That's the only place I know of that offers that at a fountain. Most places in SA have two varieties of tea... "sweet" and "unsweet."

Out of the brands, I like Luzianne, esp their new green ice tea bags. Great for sweet tea, doesn't need much extra sugar.

KIM TRAN restuarant on Harry Wurzbach has great jasmine iced tea, a must try!

For bottled tea, Sweet Leaf is yum. Plus the little old lady on the label is sure cute.

I've had really good tea at some restaurants. I really don't recall which ones. But at home I drink about a gallon a day. Tried all of them over the years Lipton, Tetley , Luisianne and store brands. They all tasted a bit different but, hard to say one was better than another. But the last couple years I've been getting H.E.B.'s store brand "Hill Country Cold Brew". It's much stronger than Lipton and others which I like! The main problem with the taste of tea is the nasty, poison, fluoride the city puts in our water.

I think we're blessed with having many good choices of sweet tea in Texas. This was a problem when I traveled North. However, I still think Canadian sweet tea in the mountains of British Columbia is my favorite. I think it has to do with the water source--just enough minerals for a crisp taste.

However, here in SA I really like the peach tea at Olive Garden. Does that count?
