Another vote for NE Pediatrics. We've been going to them for 12 years. I love Dr. Pauli & Dr. Dooley. The office staff is outstanding. Never a long wait & if I call first thing in the morning for a sick appointment I've always been able to get seen.

We go to Dr. Cortada, at 281 and Bitters. His office is super-clean, his staff is polite and helpful, we've always been able to get a sick appointment the same day...usually within two hours of calling. There's never more than one other family in the waiting room and the wait is never more than 20 minutes, so I don't end up feeling like we're trapped in a germ factory for hours when we go.

The only downside is that Dr. Cortada doesn't share an office with any other doctors, so if he's on vacation, he arranges for another doctor's office to take his sick calls. He uses a pediatrician in Stone Oak to cover for him, and the times we've had to go there, we've had to wait hours in an overcrowded waiting room.
