Simi's Indian Cuisine (buffet is only for lunch) is one of my favorite places to eat.

just ate at Schobel's yesterday in New Braunfels (it's been open for 3 weeks now) and that was pretty good. Their buffet I don't think isn't as big as Golden Corral, Ryan's....but it was pretty tasty for what they had yesterday. You can also order off the menu too.

I second India Palace, one of my favorite Indian buffets. The buffet is also open for dinner, which is sometimes not the case with other Indian restaurants.

El Jarro has a lunch buffet M-F. Enchiladas, rice, beans, chicken fajitas, picadillo, guacamole, sour cream, tortillas, and pico are all offered. Not too bad at $6 or $7 (don't remember the exact price.)

Also I remember the Las Palapas on Blanco (near Churchill) used to have a buffet on certain evenings.

Genghis Grill allows you to have unlimited trips to to the line (no to-go though), for a few dollars more than the normal price. But it is so much food to begin with...I've never had the regret of not going that route in the first place.

Have to try it! I like GENGHIS KAHN on Walzem. It's a little run down after 30+ years in the same location, but it's still very tasty. Also, it's great for low sodium meals because you control the amount of salt/soy in the food.

Thumbs up Red Lobster...........

Red Lobster is having a dine-in promotion right now of their endless shrimp. The shrimp is back! Check out their website. http://www.redlobster.com/
Went to the local Red Lobster at La Cantera IH-10 West and Loop 1604 West, and enjoyed a lovely dinner tonight. The dinner was awesome.
