Post housing costs new braunfels/canyon lake

Loving New Braunfels and wondering how far $200-250,000 will go in that area? I'm looking for 3-4 bedrooms and 2 baths. I currently live on zero-lot line (as close as you can get to a townhouse without actually touching) and hate it. So don't need tons of land, but need enough so that I can walk outside without seeing in my neighbor's windows

I have been reading tons of stats and seeing mediums/means/averages, but would like some practical experience. Is there a certain part of town considered better than another? I'm planning another visit this summer and am trying to get an idea of where to head.

Thanks so much

bande1102, I think you could find something nice in New Braunfels in your price range, but am not real familiar with the area. Sent you a PM with a referral to someone who's lived there a long time. Good luck with your search.... New Braunfels is very pretty!
