I may be moving to San Antonio soon, and I am looking for a nice area to live in. I have a wife and kids and really dont want to live in a crappy area, yet I am not that familiar with the city yet, so I dont really know where to look, or what zip codes to look in. Any suggestions?

I know cost is sometimes a factor, but if I knew what general area is nice, and has low crime etc.. I could further narrow down my search. Thanks ahead of time.

If you want newer developments, you will want to check out The Stone Oak area and a few others. Typically areas along or north of 1604 will be the newer areas.

Excellent area although I do not know the complex. Close to everything, in safe part of town and with ease of travel throughout the city.

That complex is part of oakwell farms. It's one of less well known premiere communitites. Very safe area, close to great shopping, and excellent neisd schools.
