I completely agree,
extremists give religions a bad name.

There's crazy people everywhere, then you find a few that claim that their craziness is "true ..........." (insert religion)

That'd be a pretty funny story

(BTW, it's just a joke and I have absolutely no idea of how old they are)
Dopo....I had hopes that we might have figured a few things out privately. But here is a perfect example of what you claim is humor and it makes no sense (at least not to me.) Who's daughters? and why daughters?? Phelps isn't targeting San Antonio....he hates the world ...people, humanity. I totally missed any reference to anyone's daughters and any reason for them to get pregnant. As a mother of a daughter, I found your comment offensive and disrespectful to young women.....or any woman. So to answer your question....it appears that YES...you would BE the only one that would be happy!

oh please, you don't need religion to be crazy. what about all the athiest mass muderers of the last century. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Poll Pot and Kim Jung Ill to name a few...funny how religion haters never mention them.

Maybe because we are talking about Fred Phelps (look at the title of the thread), a person using religion to justify hate against other people.

Are you defending people that use religion to justify their hateful ways?

The discussion about an event that was local last August has taken a detour into areas that are off-topic for this forum. If Fred Phelps makes a new visit to San Antonio, it'll make sense to start a new thread about that visit. Otherwise, this is a topic that should be discussed in C-D's Politics and Other Controversies forum. Thread closed.
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
