I'm pregnant with my third and have been having terrible all day/all night sickness. Unfortunately cooking has been out of the picture. We've done pizza, Schwan's, McDonalds and various take out in our area for my husband and two young kids.

I'm wondering if there are any other meal delivery type services? I know the takeout, fast food, and various freezer meals definitely aren't ideal for any of us. I'd love to find a place where we can purchase homemade meals of sorts.

Any links/recommendations?

What about the places like Dream Dinners and Super Suppers? You can go pick up pre-prepared meals. They don't deliver straight to your home, but they are nicer and fresher meals.

Great suggestion Texasgirl1...if I remember correctly you can make it yourself or buy the ones they have prepackaged that they put together...I was very sad to see the one at Culebra close, didn't realize there were still some here in San Antonio.

The Super Suppers @ Huebner Commons seems to be having a decent special right now.

Have you thought of maybe hiring some evening help to make meals for the family? Two kids and one on the way--I'd say you deserve some help.

The Super Suppers in Blanco Plaza has delivery available according to their site...

Super Suppers

Just in case you would not feel up to getting out to pick them up...but it might be worth one trip up there to pick up a freezer full to have.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, you're all wonderful!

I'm going to give Super Suppers a call tomorrow morning, it looks fantastic! We could probably do one big trip and fill our freezer and hopefully by then I'll be feeling much, much better.

Thank you!

well, if your husband is a good cook, try preparying food, for the up comming week. When my sister (really an aunt, but we grew up as brothers) was pregnant and was freeloading off me LOL (dont hate me) I would cook up food for the week on saturdays. usually I took care of her, nothing but grilled chicken, steamed vegetables, and freshley squeezed OJ.

good luck.
