Oh my goodness. Super upset about this one. I could live with 106.7 flipping because I have the Beat. But 104.1 flipping to Tejano makes me upset because I loved listening to Latino Pop when hip hop got old. Not to mention there are 2-3 other tejano stations in the SA area...no?

Here's more info:

From what that link says it seems like the station is going to be "regional Mexican" which might sound like Tejano but its considered a totally different genre. There are even different types of regional Mexican music. I actually am a fan of the music (as well as Tejano) so I think i will be interesting to see what direction the station goes. I am not sure how to say this delicately as far as to exactly who the station is catering to. (Chingo bling lookalikes is the best I can come up with)

THATS HILARIOUS!!!!

Once again desperate radio trying anything to get an audience. Looks like they are aiming for the Construction crowd, who leaves the radio on all day long. It's a key demographic!

It's older pop, not as "top 40s" pop. But, true. It was like having two options...and now ¡no tengo ni opciones!
