I read a few mentions of how the townhomes & apartments on Windsor Oaks (near Walzem & Eisenhauer) had high crime rates. These posts were in 2007..how is the area now? I'm home alone all day with a 2 year old, so I don't want to get into anything I'd feel unsafe in...

The Windsor Oaks area is probably the highest crime rate area for the Sheriff's Office. You can call and verify this at 335-6070. Ask to speak with Deputy Urias.

you can also check any crime stat database online for 78239 zipcode
