Default Homes/Apts for rent -- $600

Well I received a letter in the mail from the Housing authority that my rental allowance has gone down to $584. That is hardly enough for a two bedroom and now I will have to start looking again for a place that is less. The Apt I had decided on, goes for $631. I can go up to 600 and no more.

According to them the Fair Market Value has gone down in San Antonio. Is this true? Any help is appreciated.

Or if you know where I can find something in that price range also greatly appreciated.

2 Bedroom in a nice decent neighborhood (section 8).
