If you have reported it to your bank and your credit card company then the most you can be liable for is $50. I don't even believe the bank will hold you responsible for anything once you file a police report, the cc company normally doesn't give up their $50 minimum. Make sure you contact those stores and request HEB security to save the video from those days, they sometimes lose it after 24 to 72 hours. Also by the time the Police get back to investigate it is so long afterward that the car's license plates or other stuff has been changed.

Take everything out of your wallet, and make a PHOTOCOPY of all of the cards, id's, etc (probably will be 4+ pages for some people )(oh, and don't leave your CC on the machine ). Now is a good time to decide whether you REALLY need to carry all of it around, too.

That way, if you ever lose your wallet, you know exactly what's in there...just remember to update any new ones!!
