Shooting of a mother in front of her kids as part of a carjacking. SAPD caught a suspect, according to KSAT's late news.

Talk about anti-social behavior. One would have to be devoid of emotion and morals to shoot a mother in front of her children just for a car.

yes, that was mentioned in the kabb report as well.

Glad the mom will be ok but really had to be scary for the kids. Also happy they caught the scum.

Is Ingram Park Mall at all sketchy, or is similar to, say, North Star?

As far as I know, the area is sketchy. I've never shopped out there, but I drove a bus out there and went to a club out there once.

Yeah Ingram is sketchy but with just a bunch of highchool punks... Your actually safer around there than u are at the beloved la cantera..this was a isolated event there. Crime happens every just be smart. Sucks because I grew up in that area and it is going south.

How are you safer at Ingram Mall than La Cantera? I've been to La Cantera plenty of times never had any problems. Same with Ingram Mall no problems. Yeah crime happens everywhere doesn't matter what part of the city you're in.

Shooting a mother in front of her kids just so you can steal a car. What the hell is wrong with you?
