Well, that's a valid point. I am sure OP doens't want his mother waking up one morning seeing all her chickens dead and blood sucked out.

I wonder if those meat can be used to feed other farm animals such as pigs. Maybe not, due to the hard to digest feathers, but if they can take out the feathers, they might even be able to turn those meat into meat used for chicken nuggets.

I see them at the farmers market all the time for $5.00 / doz but that seems rather high. I buy farm eggs for $2.00 / doz from a small private farmer. They are all different sizes and some are brown, a few are white and some are blue green shell colors but they are all good.

There is nothing wrong with non-brown, white eggs. They are just from different species, not because one is more natural or healthy than the other.

Raising chickens for eggs is one thing but raising ***** for fighting is another. I'll gladly call any of my neighbors in on a noise ordinance if I thought they were raising animals for such a barbaric purpose. And yes cultures can change with the times and become more humane in the process so let's not even go that direction.
