So, I'd like a place where I can just drop a bunch of bags of clothes and maybe some other stuff (ktichen ware etc.)

I don't want to sit and wait while they sift through my bags and tell me what they will take and what is junk. I just want to off load it some place that it will eventually end up in needier hands.

Anyone know a place?

thanks!

Where are you located?
There is a drop box in Helotes by El Crapparel restaurant. I believe it is Medina Children's Home.

There is a Ronald McDonald drop box in Pipe Creek on Hwy 16.

Over on Thousand Oaks near the Dairy Queen there is a donation box, a man will come to your car and get the items.

Thanks everyone! I'm not from the area so I have had a bunch of stuff from my moves just accumulating because I don't know where to take it.

I like the Battered Women's Shelter idea, and it sounds convienient enough.

appreciate the input

I dunno, but I called the number and the lady gave me the number to the donation station: 210-733-3536

They are closed Sat/Sun but are open to donations during the week til' 7. It has a different address too so I suggest calling. I am going to call again on Monday to make sure I got it right.

The lady on the phone though, said I can just drop off my bags though.

The Battered Women's Shelter should take anything for children and women. Like someone else mentioned, anything they can't use they will donate usually to the SAMM shelter which is another option.
