You're right about animal control. I had a black lab attack me one day..I successfully fended off the attack. I had my cell phone with me. Animal control wouldn't answer the phone. SAPD was called and never showed up either. So much for the bs that the city cares about your safety or the animal's safety.

Actually, I saw a dog in a car (same situation) a few months ago.

I called 311 and they transfered me to the police. I also called the store from the parking lot and they sent their security outside and called the car model over the speakers.

I left a very nasty note and went on my way before the various authorities arrived.

so it was a pet sitting service and now we dont know which company it was? wow, really? someone msg me the name if you saw it so i know who to avoid.

There was no name, only a phone number. She's not answering her phone....or at least, she wasn't.

If you're in the market for a pet sitter, I'm sure you could start a thread about finding a reputable one.
