Hello everyone!

My daughter has a sebaceous cyst and I went to a dermatologist, who told me to go to a plastic surgeon. Well, this one plastic surgeon he sent me to only works in the hospital.... so it would equal big bucks for a very quick procedure for something very small.

My question is this: people have told me that general practioners do this removal in their office. Anyone have experience w/ this? If so, can you point me in a good direction of who to see?

hi there --- i had a sebaceous cyst on my back...up by my left shoulder blade --- my doctor's office did the removal in office --- my office has a doctor and a PA (physician's assistant) in the office and my husband and I always see the PA --- he is the one that actually removed it...he numbed the area and removed it with no problems and nothing more than a small dressing...

our doctor is Mary Beth Harr and the PA is P.A. Locke...210-614-1112...

Good Luck!!!
